Bahama Bay Resort

History of Bahama Bay Resort

Old Bahama Bay Resort, Grand Bahama Island

The Bahama Bay Resort is the ultimate destination for boating trips and spending quality time with loved ones.  This beautiful resort on Grand Bahama Island is located in the quaint town of West End.   Its history dates back to 2001 when a New York based company, the Holding Capital Group, bought the marina and built 73 luxury condos and 3 restaurants on the premises. The condos are privately owned but rental management used to be handled by the development company. Recently, however, the development company severed ties with the condo owners, transferring the management responsibilities of the condo hotel to them.  This new agreement has led to the formation of a new company, Island Ventures Resort & Club Ltd., which will oversee the running of the hotel and allow the stakeholders to share in both the obligations and benefits of operating the property.
